When you search if you need to close apps from recents on Android the answer on all of them is no and that it doesn't increase the battery life. Is this really true?
Yes, it's true. No need to kill applications (clean RAM).
On the contrary, it can increase consumption in certain cases. Because the app has to reload..
On older, lower ram devices it might've been occasionally beneficial when ram was always full, android had to make some space for a new app to load which introduced a delay. On a newer device it makes no difference.
