Is there a problem with MIUI and Droid2Bootstrapper?

I'm actually about ready to switch back to either Android Gingerbread or CyanogenMod, because as muchas I love MIUI, it's not worth all the trouble I'm having with it. I had a problem earlier this week where upon a system reboot, my phone would do a complete factory reset. I finally fixed that, but now after installing Droid2Bootstrap and rebooting my phone into recovery, it reset itself again! I'm getting really angry with MIUI, because it's destroying my phone. I love using it, I love how fast it is, I love the way it looks, and I love the themes, but these problems with resetting my phone are simply not worth it. If there's anything I can do to avoid these factory resets, someone please let me know...I'm getting really frustrated.
