Hey, first time around here, I'm waiting to buy a Poco F7 and I was very intrigued by the idea of using a custom ROM. Though from what I've heard so far it wouldn't work in my case, as I need Android Auto, GPay, Banking and investing apps to work reliably on my phone. However today I came across a reddit post that said your new HyperOS ROM has a fix for it. Is it something reliable/stable or is it the usual chase where it gets broken and you have to fix it every time? I would really really love to get out of the constraints of regular MIUI/HyperOS, plus I've been using a tablet with a Chinese rom ad it's just sooo much better than the global ones.
EDIT: Also what if i just get the redmi turbo 4 pro instead, does it become the same thing if you flash the ROM?

Google is always messing with security, and applications can have their owns checks, so it is hard to give you warranties on what will work in the future. I would not say it is reliable, simply because tomorrow your favourite bank may release an app version that perfectly check if you have an unlocked bootloader. And this month, Google have changed the way Integrity is verified.

For the second part, usually the difference between China and Global versions of similar device after flashing are :
- the supported bands
- sometimes some parts of the firmware are not compatible, and you may need to flash a file after updates
Also keep in mind, it seems that unlocking a China version is practically impossible nowadays outside of China.

Ok, so the turbo 4 pro is out of the question. Hmmm, this really sucks, having the rom would solve so mani things and open up a lot more customization, but sadly having GPay and AA is really important for me

REDMI Turbo 4 is a MediaTek Dimensity device, so it's not even supported here.
