Invalid Issue Updating through Updater

Hi, so I was on HyperOS 1 Ishtar DEV release before, and I downloaded the HyperOS 2 STABLE release and used the updater to load it. My phone booted on and went to the TeamWin TWRP logo with the up down arrows and the canine anthropomorphic mascot figure. I am kind of panicking because it's been stuck on that screen for about 10 minutes now, just checking if it's normal and part of the update process or I massively screwed up here. Please help me unbrick it if so, I am flying day after tomorroww. I don't even mind if I lose all my data worst case, I'm kind of spiralling but yes any advice would be much appreciated thank you.

Edit: Sorry, I rebooted and it sent me back to the splash logo. I tried installing the HyperOS Stable 2 file from downloads but it failed, it sent me back but I was able to load back into my old version with no data lost fortunately. Is it not possible to update without data loss? I'd like to update it, but I must say that close call has me feeling shooketh and much more appreciative of the phone at least being functional.

Also, would like to thank you and the rest of the dev team, I've been so dependent on xiaomi.eu ROMS, amazing work!

You need to update to a A15 compatible TWRP after flashing the ROM.
I'm kinda in a same situation than OP. Using a 13 Ultra with Xiaomi.eu HyperOS 1 Stable. I want to update to HyperOS 2, so I've downloaded the new zip and tried to update via the Updater app. But after selecting it, it just refresh into TWRP recovery and nothing more happens. Should I just manually flash it through TWRP? Will I lose data if I do it this way? I'm using TWRP 3.7. Is it Android 15 proof? Thank you so much for your help
