New K20 Pro - proximity sensor always on

Hi guys,

I am on latest stable miui 10.4.6 and i am experiencing this bug that makes the proximity sensor go Crazy. If i am listening to some audio on telegram or whatsapp by putting the smartphone near my ear, the screen goes off and never go on. But i found out that if i switch off adaptive brightness and then put It back to automatic, the proximity sensor fixes himself e starts to work again. I am going Crazy. Please, if you can help me would be really nice!
