If camera sources are complete, yes. At least about camera quality; RAW supports..I don't know.

That's a tricky question m8. Do we really need somthing of this new era things? eheh

But for mi5, I guess it would be nice, since it would help you save battery and gain preformance (mostly on multitasking and heavy games).

but you are right though... we really don't need it for sure, this thing is already fast.
