How would you go back to the original 4x4 if you decided?
Just flash in recovery?, any need to wipe cache etc...?

Hi.. I'm refering to the row of static icons at the bottom of the screen. I'll make a 1.8.12 version of this mod tomorrow along with a flashable zip containing the standard launcher in case you decide to go back to standard. I'll post full instructions..

Hi, possible to make the MIUI launcher work with LCD density changer, i changed to 192 DPI but the icon label are misaligned.

so why make one for 1.8.12?

Glad to hear it's working for you. 1.8.12 Includes a couple of bug fixes for the Launcher which are worth having IMO..But feel free to stick with the version you're on if that works for you..

Hi..I don't know of a way to dynamically adjust the layout to work with all DPI's. I'll look in to it but can't promise anything..

Andy, bit off topic I know but do you have any idea why the 'Autoclose Folders when app opened' isn't working on my HD2 1.8.12? I know it was your suggestion/work so hope you don't mind me asking...

Can't think why it wouldn't work on all phones. It's a very small piece of code and there is nothing device specific. I've added the Auto Close feature in this Mod and the Extended Settings Mod so maybe try one of those and see if it works??

Thanks Andy, I'll give it a try and see if it cures the problem. If I'm flashing both Extended Settings and Launcher Mods do they need to be done in a particular order or does it not matter? BTW, was in Edinburgh over the weekend - should have found you to buy you a pint

Thanks Andy. Flashed the v2 Extended Settings Centre Clock mod and I can now confirm that my folders are indeed autoclosing I'm running the MIUI.us ROM which is supposed to have your autoclose tweak included however it wasn't working - is now so I'm happy! Off to play with the launcher mod now...

Edit - What would the chances be of adding another tweak (either to launcher mods or as an additional setting in Extended Settings) to allow user to choose action of home button when in home screen? I really miss being able to press the home button when on my default screen to open the screen preview panel (rather than having to press menu key then the Preview button).

Thanks Andy, hopefully the MIUI launcher support multi DPI. Currently i'm using 192 dpi.

Sorry for quoting all of this but I'm on my phone.
But when you're at the launcher screen you can have your fingers at two parts of the screen then bring them together and it'll show you all the screens. But of course this will only work on phones with multitouch and I don't know every phone that used MIUI.
I hope I explained that well enough though..

Yeah I know that, and that you can press menu>preview. I just preferred the original home key setup so it would be nice to have the choice (at least until the hardkeys on my HD2 finally pack up )

Issues with maintaining Dialer, Messaging, Contacts and Browser after flashing.

I flashed this MOD early yesterday and it worked perfectly. I had to reflash it today because my phone (D1) was acting up. After I flashed, it took the previously mentioned apps. I removed them from the hotseat (dock) before flashing and they still disappear. I've also tried reflashing the MOD several times.

Anyone know what my problem may be? Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly but you could maybe try going into settings, manage applications, all, selecting launcher and clearing data Before you drag the icons out of the dock and flash this mod.
or maybe try dragging your icons from the dock into a folder?

Hey andy, love this mod. Thank you very much! I was wondering if it was possible to merge this mod with the extended settings mod? I think that would be most excellent! Also, was wondering if it was possible to make a 1x2 photo frame widget? We have 2x2, and 2x4. I have a couple spots I'd like to fill in. I know this question should be somewhere else, but I figured you might have an idea, maybe. Thanks for your hard work.
