I know you can pass it with the magisk module, but if I want to sell the phone to a regular user with no knowledge about custom roms, magisk etc, and they want to use banking apps etc, I need to relock bootloader.

Right now I have xiaomi.eu rom, orange fox recovery and magisk.

Clean flashing official rom (wiping all data) and then locking bootloader will accomplish that? I don't need to do any extra step, right?

1, log out Mi account from the device
2, Sign out the Google account from the device
3, install stock ROM via Miflash using script > clean all - flash_all.bat
(Global device = Global ROM / CN device = CN ROM)
4, lock the bootloader by entering the fastboot command: fastboot oem lock

Genuine question.

I once did steps 3 and 4 while experimenting with my RN12, and after I locked BL it ended in a semi-hardbrick that I was only able to rescue via EDL.

Is signing out the key to not getting a bricked device (so it's related to FRP)?

You probably installed a Global ROM on the CN device or vice versa and locked the bootloader. This caused the brick.

Thanks.
Since I bought the device in the EU should I flash the EU version instead?
