Lockscreen with pin, no slide unlock?

Idk if it's really a bug but with the Miui lockscreen if u have a passcode set it just shows the option to type it in without even sliding to unlock. Is it possible to install different lockscreens? I'm kind of new i dont think u can install alternative lockscreens in the marketplace right? Thanks

Just downloaded thanks great app. But I added a brightness slider and now idk how to delete it? Can someone help? Thanks
