Low sound in top speaker during calls. The problem came with MIUI 10. I read somewhere that this is a software problem. Any fix or solution?

Same for me, but it much lower, after i make a call through BT and disconnected the phone. Sometimes wipe cache+dslvik helps, but not every time.


Is there any solition for this?

Now at MI6 8.8.9 xiaomi.eu

I can confirm that bug. I changed some values in mixer_paths.xml bot nothing changed. At the moment cant find solution, and i also barly can hear other person.

replace that part with it ;

    <path name="voice-handset">
        <path name="handset" />
        <ctl name="RX4 Digital Volume" value="88" />

    </path>

Did you try it? It is working?
My phone is not rooted...and I wouldn't like to root if is not necessary.

It has got a little bit louder - I think. As for rooting it is easy - just flash magisk zip in twrp and if you are on weekly miui 10 beta when it is get updated the root will be removed.

It makes the call a little bit louder, but the main problem is, when the phone connect on 3g or h+ then the incall voices go much more quiet level. At 4g or 2g network the incall voices go back to the normal loud level

Hi, it probably has something to do with your cellular network provider.

I tested and now use a modified 8.8.30 xiaomi.eu version as a daily driver and looked like the problem is gone.

This seems like an issue still. I was on the Stock Global Rom and recently updated to the Weekly Beta Xiaomi.EU build for Android Pie. I used the phone today to make a call and the volume seemed rather low compared to Global Rom. Can this be looked into? Its only that I was browsing the forums today and noticed this post that it made me stop and think! hey your right!
