Magisk 20.04 with 20.8.7 installation issue

Dear all, have a question about installing magisk 20.04 on the 20.8.6/7 version.
It is not working in this setup,

I use this twrp version from here: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/k30-pro-k30-pro-poco-f2-miui-eu-installation.56417/post-550834
The 20.8.7 version is also allready installed.

But when I try ti install magisk via twrp it is not active after booting to system.
I also tried to patch the boot img from the rom and flashed it, but same result...

Is magisk only working wth the stable version at the moment?

Someone has maybe a hint for me

Just read in xda that this is the case at the moment. so we have to wait for updated trpw or magisk.

This is certainly not correct. On the previous release I used (20.7.3) alsi MIUI12.1 Magisk still worked. But when I install it on this release, my phone doesn't boot anymore...

Hmm i have no loops, however...
The big difference is the android version, now 11 before 10.

Still guessing that an update is needed for magisk.. etc.
