Hi guys, I just updated my Mi 8 to Xiaomi.eu 8.9.24 ROM. I flashed magisk 17.1 zip in TWRP to obtain root permissions, but when the smartphone start there isn't Magisk icon and it seems not installed. I searched a lot, but nobody seems to have the same problem. What do you suggest me?

You must install Magisk Manager (apk) manually, then should be visible on home screen. I had this problem on custom ROMs on Pie (on Redmi 4a). Then will works.

I'm using 8.9.24 and flashed Magisk 17.2 on top.
Now I'm having issues after boot with the following behavior: I'll get the lockscreen for about two seconds and could try to put in the PIN (touch works), but then the screen goes black and the device gets warm.
The only thing I can do is to reboot into TWRP and recover my backup.
Which packages shall I install exactly to get the root access with Magisk working?
Do I also need the DM verity and encryption disabler?

This is screen on time after a day only in 4G and heavy heavy use (download apps, a lot of social, email...)
