MAGISK PROBLEMS

This morning I updated to latest canary magisk with the app and the phone took about 15 minutes to boot, then the screen was washed, very pale color and nothing worked, tried settings, apps, etc everything caused bootloop.

Flashed ROM and magisk again and happened the same. Unistalled magisk (with TWRP) and didn't work either.

So clean flash, wiped everything, format data and phone booted perfectly, set it with account etc.. and install magisk and all the problem started again.....

Tried a new clean flash but installing magisk right after the ROM but TWRP (latest official) give me "updater process ended with error 1 magisk"

Any tip? Don't know what more can I do...

oh yes, im "glad" i wasn't the only one had this problem, i had to install fastboot rom with miflash to solve this problem, thus completely wiped phone, fortunately i recovered all of my files via twrp (before flashing). tomorrow im gonna install xiaomi.eu rom again and i will use magisk beta this time not canary

yeah of course, except canary, everything will be okay

I don't know how this happened but here is how I solved it.

I wanted to know what was the problem so I tried a clean install with another rom (Pixel experience), flashed the ROM and magisk before booting and everything was ok (clean flash), then format data and clean install latest xiaomi eu beta with beta magisk (not canary) and problem solved.

I think I'm not going to use canary source for a while.

Don't know what to tell you, after a clean install of xiaomi eu everything worked fine until I flashed magisk stable v20.3 and the problem happened again. The only solution for me was flashing pixel experience as I've written before.

i uninstalled magisk and it keeps booting back to twrp everytime i reboot...tried reflashing rom and boot image but same thing...any help?

2 different solutions given a few comments ago... Don't know if a data backup will work or not.

still don't know why it isn't booting up though...i've made backup of my pics and downloads but don't want to lost apps and data from that, anyway i can recover them from twrp or via usb cable before wiping?

Same happened to me. I made a backup of all my data in twrp and made a fresh install of the rom. Them restored everything and flashed stable magisk
