Manually downloaded defy update, rebooted straight into bootloader. WTF? Help PLS

I had downloaded the update for moto defy, it rebooted straight to the bootloader. Over and over. I would like to know is there a way to flash an update through rsd? I don't have any adapters for the sd card so I can't do it like that.
Anybody? PLEASE
