New Mi 10 on stable V12.0.4.0, problem with swipe down action in the center of the screen

Anyone having problems with the swipe down action in the center of the screen to bring in control center and notifications?
Mi 10 on stable V12.0.4.0.
It seems to be disabled when i plug the phone in to charge, and only swiping down actions from the top will bring in control center and notifications again, instead of swiping down in the center of the screen.

The only fix now i have is to restart the phone to be able to swipe down in the center of the screen to bring in control center and notifications again

anybody else facing the same problem as me. not sure if upgrading to MI10_V12.0.7.0.QJBCNXM will fix this problem.

just updated to 12.0.7.0, same swipe down bug still persists. wondering if anyone on weekly is having the same problem as me on stable for mi 10.
