New Mi 10S - Internet stops working after running a speedtest

Hello,

I've flashed MIUI 12.5.7 on a Xiaomi MI 10S that I've purchased from China.
I've noticed that after I run a test on speedtest dot net (browser), the internet stops working, and there is nothing I can do unless I reboot. I've managed to reproduce it 3 times. I think the modem crashes.

Please let me know what debug you want, I have root on the phone.

Update.
This can be closed. It was actually my VPN getting killed and the internet stopped working because of "always ON vpn profile". I solved this by disabling all sorts of battery optimizations and also locked the VPN app in the taskbar.
