Mi 11 Pro- WhatsApp notifications not working

Hi, I have a Mi 11 Pro on China Rom and running the latest MIUI. I've set all permissions etc but my notifications on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger won't show on my locked screen, only if I unlock my phone. If I have recently had the app open and I send a message to myself, it will come through. I have attached my settings, please could someone help?
