Mi 11 ultra eu stable updates

Hey

Im new with this rom stuff and totally confused, maybe someone in here can guide me?

I bought my Mi 11 ultra from TradingShenzen, it's the stable EU rom version.

When I got the phone 2 month ago, it had a update (12.5) ready.
I think I was very luck when I made to update the phone... Again, I never had a phone with another rom etc.
I always got normal version phones and never open bootloader and all this.
I don't know anything about this at all.

I'm really glad for this phone but, is it impossible to get another update, I mean, I have it for 2 month now and no more update.
I try read a lot in tdifferent places about all this, but still I'm confused.
And confused about stable and weekly updates to?

Is it possible for me to get weekly updates for my stable eu rom?

Weekly is based on the beta weekly version
released by Xiaomi, stable on the stable version.

No you cannot get weekly updates for stable, obviously .
You can install weekly ROM and get updates weekly. Note switching from stable to weekly requiere data format.

No you cannot get weekly updates for stable, obviously .
You can install weekly ROM and get updates weekly. Note switching from stable to weekly requiere data format.

Thx... But is the weekly rom a EU rom?
I read everywhere some important stuff not work on the global version, that's the reason I chose eu version and think it's important to stay with this.

So it's normal I don't get any updates for more months/nothing wrong then??

When a new update comes, how do I get it then?
Do I get it on my phone like normal phones?
Do I have to look for it in here?

It will notify you when a new update is available.
You can complain to Xiaomi for their releasing policy, nothing this ROM can do about. If no release from Xiaomi itself, no release here from eu team.

Also no OTA like on stock, this is right now not possible bc the custom recovery doesn't support OTA . You download the ROM over the installer app, reboot to recovery and install it. Please search this forum for how-to's.

Get another rom?
Let it be like it is and hope for some more?
Or simply get rid of this phone, like I did with my S21 ultra 3 weeks ago?

I just want to note your phone is being switched to Android 12.

Ermm .. what is not clear btw, any other custom ROM with a stable release will use Xiaomi's released stable ROM. Regardless the ROM the situation will be the same.

Yes weekly are already switched internally to A12. Stable may take a while since Android 12 isn't released yet.

I just seen this on the site i bought my phone (screenshot).

But I guess it's not me, because TWRP was/is installed on the phone when I bought it?
