Mi 13t pro sound cut off problem during calls

I'm experiencing a sound cut-off issue during phone calls on my Mi 13T Pro. The sound cuts out for about 5 seconds, during which neither I can hear the other person nor can the other person hear me. After this brief interruption, the sound resumes, but the issue repeats after a certain period.

Interestingly, this problem does not occur during WhatsApp calls; the sound works perfectly fine in WhatsApp conversations.

Has anyone else faced this issue or found a solution?

Do you have xiaomi.eu custom rom flashed on your device? This forum is dedicated to it, as you can notice on de server domain.
Either way, have you tried to check if both of you microphones are working? Make a video an make some noice on each of your phone sides (bottom and top). Then listen using headphones to identify if both microphones are working.
