Why not traducing the dev ROM (more update and features) instead of the global ROM?

I think it is the plan, but there is always something to start with. Sure that when 7.2.4 stable will be available, also 7.2.12 will come then rom devs...
I beleive we need to be patient.

You need to prepare a repository for ja language. Translate the strings and ask to add your language to the rom.
Ask to the rom managers for details
You can better use the original EN.MIUI.COM roms for chinese
because the translation is 100% correct! And you will recieve OTA even with locked bootloader because you are using an official ROM!!!Greets.

I did the procedure and I was able to flash xiaomi eu rom on locked bootloader.
Now the thread is no longer accessible and nobody is speaking of this.... why? Flash rom on locked bootloader is really cool
I got the mi5 with Xiaomi.eu rom pre-installed. How am I going to install China Stable ROM instead so that I can unlock the bootloader?
