Hi, using 9.1.24 on MI8, when phone boots, volume keys are working well, after a while they just stop working. The only way to make it work again (without rebooting) is to activate the accessibility SWITCH ACCESS. After that I can use the keys but with the accessibility warning. If I disable the option immediately the keys stop working. Any advice?

But I switch from china stable to miui eu, and I format and wipe everything in order to switch to miui eu. Do you think is the only way? Kind of lazy to start from the beginning...
Use twrp 3.2.3. 1208 and make a nandroid backup, then clean flash the Rom.
If the issue persists you can always just restore the backup.
