A few weeks ago I updated to the latest rom on here for my Mi 11 Ultra, 1.0.6 ROM. Last night my phone crashed while playing music and it would not power back on. The battery was around 60% at the time. After 10 minutes i managed to get the phone to start booting but it shows the Mi logo for around 5 seconds then the screen flashes and it will try booting again.
I have tried booting it into twrp but it does the same thing. I have tried fastboot to boot the twrp.img but again its shows the Mi logo and then after 5 seconds it flashes and reboots. I have tried reinstalling the rom using fastboot but I get the errors like;
"Warning: skip copying super image avb footer due to sparse image." and
"Warning: skip copying aop_ab image avb footer (aop_ab partition size: 0, aop_ab image size: 245760)."
After that the device tries to boot up but 5 seconds and it fails

Is there any way to get it to boot into recovery so i can at least get my data backed up?

any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

Try flashing just the boot image , fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img . Then try boot twrp from fastboot.
