Hi MIUIers,
I am starting a new series to discuss what's new and bugs happening in EU beta ROMs. It will be helpful if some of you can report and confirmed the issue here to official Xiaomi.EU website. So without further ado, let's get started!
WHAT'S NEW
1. Security patch updated to January 2020.
New security patch update for Mi 8 (2020-01-01)
2. Pro camera functions: Exposure verification
Detect dark artefacts/background in camera viewfinder.
3. New unlocking lock screen style.
Keyboard interface has changed adapting to MIUI 11 design language.
4. Redesigned Clock app.
New top bar design elements and redesigned settings with a new timer ringtone adjustment option.
5. Redesigned Weather app.
The process of adding city now adds a weather preview.
6. Applock popup suggestion.
Applock suggestion now will popup for one-time when user navigate to certain apps that need security attention (e.g. Gallery)
NEW BUGS
- Always-on Display (AOD) sometimes flicker (flickering two times) when turning off the screen.
BUGS FIXED
- None
REMAINING BUGS
1. Data usage settings do not follow SIM Card choice.
2. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space.
