first of all, I have experienced this bug in every xiaomi.eu rom I have tried MIUI 11 stable and weekly and now with the new MIUI 12 rom.
The problem is when I'am in call I set the volume to the lowest value in order to make it quiet and it sounds quiet as intended but when I make or receive the next call the in-call sound sounds very loud as it is set to the highest value and when I check the volume level I find it in the lowest value and if I wanted to make it quiet again I need to level up the volume bar by 5 steps then lower it again and if I keep it in this lowest level the next call the same issue repeats again and again
