Mi A2 Lite / Redmi 6 PRO mixed up

I bought a Mi A2 Lite and instead I got a Redmi 6 PRO with android one and a custom ROM (Lineage OS).

Is it possible to get rid of the custom rom and get a stable one?

Yes, I had exactly the same thing, bought an Mi A2 Lite on a Chinese website and got a Redmi 6 Pro with Mi A2 Lite packaging and androidone engraved on the back, unlocked (yeaj) and flashed with lineage OS (lol).
