Invalid Mi Mail

Hi,
Mi Mail app on latest weekly is not showing email as "read" after reading . All messages remain with bold font headings.

In the new version, the unread mail is marked with a red dot on the left side.

In the new version, the unread mail is marked with a red dot on the left side.

Thanks, I can see a red dot next to some messages but even after I have opened and read them, the red dot does not disappear.
