Hello,

I bought a Xiaomi 15 from the official European distribution. I want to transfer data from my Chinese Xiaomi 13, but Mi Mover disconnects almost immediately after establishing a connection – only a few percent of the images get transferred.

Connecting via a USB-C <-> USB-C cable doesn't help – the app still insists on using WiFi instead of the cable.

Mi Mover versions:
  • Xiaomi 13: 4.5.0.5
  • Xiaomi 15: 4.4.1.6
HyperOS versions:
  • Xiaomi 13: 2.0.104.0 (by xiaomi.eu)
  • Xiaomi 15: 2.0.101.0 (original)
Clearing the cache and app data doesn't help.

How I can move all my settings to the new phone? I need to send my Xiaomi 13 to Xiaomi in few days (I'm selling it).

Can you explain why?

The core functionality for Mi Mover is to move apps, apps' data, settings etc into a new phone. I might have thought that this will not work for migrating for example from Huawei to Xiaomi, but this doesn't work within a single phone manufacturer, so this is a regression bug.

You are trying to move between a Custom Rom and an Official Rom, that's simply not possible with the Mi Mover App. It is intended like that by the developers.

And you are releasing PlayIntegrityFix every month, so users can use their xioami.eu phones to pay with Google Wallet, but you can't release patched Mi Mover. Cool.

But hey, PIF won't be working this May, so don't worry, I'm pretty sure no one will want to use Mi Mover in next months.

You are a joke, Im not a developer so do not blame me. First of all, you need to read through the forum as everyone else before judging anything. You are literally getting FREE content and a FREE Rom. How dare you to ask for anything ?

Mi Mover used on our ROMs (Chinese variant) doesn't seem to be compatible with the Global/Play Store variant.
This isn't a new issue and there's nothing we can do about it.
Migration to a custom ROM should be done manually in a clean way.
