MI3 back cover is from cheap plastic

Hello all, I just got few MI3 from ibuygou.com for 290usd per piece. Unfortunately my phone drops down on the ground today. So I disassemble it and I was surprised by cheap plastic back cover.

What do u think about it? Made xiaomi special cheap version for 50% discount sale?? Can somebody, who buy mi3 for normal price, confirm aluminum/magnesium back cover?

I am litte confused about it.

Omg.. Who told you that Mi3 back cover is metal?

Its not a back cover. It's the inner magnesium frame. The back cover is only hardened plastic.
 
Try searching on ibuygou or aliexpress. But this part is not mentioned to be changed. So its a spare part used to be changed through service.
