Mi3 No Updater / Can't Flash ROM / Help

Just got my Mi3 WCDMA

I'm trying to flash to the Singapore WCDMA ROM (Version: JXDSGBA10.0 （V5）)

But can't do it since:
1) there is no Updater app/icon on my Mi3 and
2) I can't select the file when going to Settings > About (only lets me do an OTA update)

My device is running Android Ver.: 4.3 JLS36C and MIUI Ver.: MIUI-JXDCNAL4.0

Any help would be appreciated on how to update the ROM of this device... Thanks

Not sure why there is no Updater, very strange.

Edit: I verified on http://order.xiaomi.com/service/imei that the phone is authentic... Just can't find the Updater app at all, anywhere.

Goto about phone, check for update, once compleat press menu then it will give you the update option. Hope that helps.

Yeah - I do not have this Menu option for other sources of update.

I think they might have spoofed the authenticity check and the phone might be a fake...

Why not just boot into recovery and flash the update?

I booted into Recovery but I don't see the Xiaomi recovery menu. I see the Android recovery menu ("no command") hence why I think this is a fake...

It would be useful to name the seller, especially for the people who consider getting original Xiaomi products and doing their research on the possible sellers so they could avoid being in the same boat.
