Mi4i Uk Lte Unlock For Band 20

Hi there - I need to try and unlock my Mi4i for LTE in the UK and have tried to follow the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note/general/unlock-lte-bands-step-step-xiaomi-mi-t3084774 however fall at the first hurdle.

When I try and install the Windows drivers having entered the USB debgging mode I just get a long list of available drivers but have no idea which is the correct Qualcom driver or anything and just get a Windows encountered an error message.

Has anyone tried this successfully and can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong? Its such a shame to have a capable phone not working properly.

Did you manage to get band 20 to work?

Sadly not...Ihave tried and tried again - I suspect its a Windows 10 thing with the driver install but unfortunately all my PCs are W10.

If anyone does have any luck please let me know -

EE4G shows as being an available network when manually searching but if I click on it I get registered but limited still to 3G

Have you tried disabling driver verification in windows 10 and trying again with the install?
