Mi5 With Miui 9 ... Why Is It Impossible To Change The Lock Screen Background?

Since the update of my smartphone, it is impossible to customize the lock screen with a personal photo. Is this normal?

it's amazing not to be able to do it on an Android phone, I'm disappointed !!

Hi, I have miui V9 EU stable, I have possibility to change Everythink from lookscreen to wallpaper.

Maybe u have to flash again, some gone wrong.

Thank you for your answer. I also have the Stable EU version, I updated it as usual and everything works. But how do you do under MIUI 9, to make the change of wallpaper of the lock screen?

It's different from MIUI 8 right?

U have different way to change wallpaper:
- First, long push on menu button or long tap on a side of display without any icons or widget, (look the pict one), after select wallpaper and choose the wallpaper u need.

- second, select setting and after select wallpaper

Any way u have possibility to change wallpaper from the official theme app, like miui v8.

Thank you but it already works for the wallpaper.

My problem is for the lock screen of the smartphone that it does not work anymore. I do not want to use the "carousel", I prefer to put personal photos.

Pay attention, some theme don't give u the possibility to change the pict on lookscreen, maybe its the theme.

Go to gallery, click the wallpaper you want, click more, click set as wallpaper... When you click apply, you can choose...
