Mi5s No Signal

Hi guys,

My Mi5S do not get any signal, so I have phone without the main fonction which is PHONE.

No EDGE, no 3G, no 4G nothing.

It react like it is on Airplane mode.

I install different ROM, from official XIAOMI to xiaomi .eu and nothing. It use to work but not anymore.

I flash the modem and nothing.

Any solution ?

Check if it still has IMEIs.

How do you check that ?

When i dial *#06# it shows me my 2 IMEI numbers which are conform with the one on the box.

You can get the same info going to
Settings->About phone->Status->IMEI information
which is easier for me than remembering a code to dial.
Anyway, if you got the correct IMEI numbers, that shouldn't be your problem.

Are APNs for your SIMs correct?
Settings->SIM cards & mobile networks->SIM #->Access Point Names

Does your phone ever worked?
If yes, when it stopped working? I mean, it stopped after doing what...?
Does your operator work with the bands supported by your device?

Good thing is : the mi5s Plus is big enough to be used as a tablet

More seriously, it would indeed be nice to know if :
- 1°) the device used to work or not. If it never worked, it's probably a hardware problem ;
- 2°) if it ever worked, if it stopped working after a specific "manoeuvre"... Like : "Did it stop working after you flashed a new ROM ?".

It use to work but after an update from XIAOMI I lost the signal.
Since then, I tried many ROM, I flashed de MODEM but nothing.

Latest builds 8.2 have issues with modem, and on some models have issues with network abd lost 3G/4G connectivity. Back to 8.1 and will be ok.
