Mi5s - Update From 8.2.3.0 To 8.5.3.0

Hi everyone!
I have a Mi5S which came with a custom ROM when i purchased it.
Following the instructions available in here, i managed to flash the xiaomi.eu ROM Stable 8.2.3.0 (MAGCNDL)
During that process, everything was deleted and i had to reinstall and configure everything from scratch with the new ROM.

Now, i would like to update it to the latest xiaomi.eu ROM Stable 8.5.3.0 (MAGCNED)

Is there any way to do it without deleting everything again?

Can I also use the Updater app if I want to change from xiaomi.eu ROM to official global ROM?

Hey guys,
Is it possible to use the Updater App to upgrade all the way from Miui 8.2 Xiaomi.eu 6.12.1 to the latest one???
