New Mi8 Quick charge 8.8.16

My personal feeling is that the charging via quick charge is very slow in this ROM. Please check.

More than two hours. This is not normal... Normally need one hour...

okay okay, you said normal is one hour, what for a charger are you using? the standart xiaomi charger which came with the MI8? this is a QC3.0 charger, i dont think so that you need one hour for a full recharge with this charger. even calculated with the QC3.0 charger you get 1.5 hours AT LEAST !

My MI8 needs this 1.5 hours in most cases BUT in summer times when its hot outside the phone needs more time for a full charge. Some days ago i've tested a QC4.0 charger and there was no improvement in charging times. So i think your 2 hours are okay. Try to charge your phone on a colder place. High temperatures are negative for Quick charging.

I use a quick charge 3 adapter. Normally in 1 1/2 hours the phone is fully loaded. But now after more than three hours I had only 92%. I don't know why. It since update to 8.8.16. I have only 23 degrees in my home...

Mhhh this is strange. Same conditions as i have. I don't have such issues since 8.8.16. Maybe a wipe cache/dalvik may help?

I do this after each flashing new beta version. Have also problems with system UI. It's crashing all time. Back to Rom 8.8.9 not possible. Bootloop...

Yes have the same ui crashes after going to 8.8.16 you are on german language right? Try swt to english and hope this gets fixed in next beta next week. As i said, i have the same trouble when switching to german. Rollback doesnt work

I have noticed that quick charging works only when the screen is off. If you are using your phone while charging it is extremely slow.

Im using a blitzwolf charger and like most members said, at around 1,5 hours my mi8 is fully charged @ 8.8.9 . Ampere shows me that it charges with around 3200mA.

As i said, there is no difference between a normal QC3.0 charger and this QC4+ charger.

So far I cannot complain, the quality of the cable itself is tremendously good. Apart from that it does what it should
