i am having the same problem lately, what can has happened? it's like my phone can't install any twrp

Me too, just installed 8.11.15 and after that... I can't go into recovery anymore, neither from shortcuts (it show fastboot always), nor from commandline:
Code:
 fastboot boot TWRP_sirius_9.img
Downloading 'boot.img'
OKAY [ 0.652s]
booting
FAILED (remote: Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error)
Finished. Total time: 0.720s

EDIT:
Hi! If you have flashed the lastest beta with Android 9 you need a compatible version of TWRP.
Here's the post: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/8-11-1.47342/page-20#post-454316
And quick link to TWRP: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s_m4CImuiTVLLPIzZvhcgkTjhMzPn6so
It happened the same to me, and just flashed through fastboot this TWRP, then entered with the button combinations, and it's working again :)
