In latest weekly for mi 9 se locking animation is really laggy. Sorry for poor quality. I didn't had any other device at the time.

No. Maybe it is going to be fixed in friday relase. For now just close your eyes while locking your phone or just set the lenght of animation scale to 0.

Hi, if u turn on "screen recorder" and lock phone, u see is phone lock animation is normally, and scree recorder has stop. And u try again lock phone, without start screen recorder, animation will be broken.
Mi 9t pro, fw 9.12.27

Mi CC9/Mi 9 Lite (pyxis)

Happens to me on my Mi 9 Lite (pyxis), exactly the same issue as seen in this thread https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/mi9se-9-12-19-20-1-02-locking-animation.53935/

It flickers then goes off. If you would like I could try to provide a video.

Yes, my Mi9 T is affected. Right now I'm still on 9.12.26, so can't say if it is solved this week.

I currently only saw, and happening rarely, a flashing screen issue when using the fingerprint sensor.
But for lock/unlock, it seems okay in 20.1.2 (Mi 9T).
