Hi enveryone,

I tried to update my rooted Mi9SE to MIUI 12 (from MIUI 11), but unfortunately it went wrong.

Here is what I did:
1) I downloaded xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9SE_V12.0.2.0.QFBCNXM_v12-10.zip from https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv12/
2) I placed it inside my phone's download folder
3) I rebooted my phone with power + up to access TWRP (3.4.0-1-Mi9SE by redispade from here: https://github.com/redispade/device_xiaomi_grus-twrp/releases)
4) I went to install > selected the .zip folder of the ROM > added Magisk 20.4 (was already installed on my phone) > clicked install
5) Everything seemed to have been installed properly, without apparent error
6) I rebooted, and it led me to TWRP again. And this happens every time I reboot.

I'm stuck. Could anyone bring me some help? My objective would be to boot without lossing my data (as far as possible). Massive thanks in advance for your time.

Did you try this ....

Hi and thanks for answering! I think that this is not the problem because I disabled all the modules in Magisk before starting.

OK then please try to install the old rom version ... if it is working, there might be a challenge with the modules or something else
Or format data in TWRP ... not only wipe -> make a backup before

I was in a loophole but I managed to get out of by flashing the European ROM (gruseeaglobal) using Mi Flash Tool. Now I have access to my system normally, but the ROM isn't the one I wanted. What would you recommend to do now knowing that xiaomi.eu doesn't offer fastboot ROMs? Thanks again.
