Mikey functions

Hello everyone,
I was wandering if there's a way to set up the Mikey to act as the power button, in order to turn off the screen and to enable screenlock.
I only managed to set it in order to get the screenlock from screen-off (it's a bit slow, btw), but i couldn't find a way to let it turn off the screen.
My power button is getting a bit ruined, and I would like to use the Mikey to replace its main actions.

Any suggestions??

I agree it would be nice to be able to lock it as well.

Should not be a problem to implement that function.
