Any real improvement?
For what I had tested:
Touch to wake works better.
Icons have transparent background.
Scenes in camera are overlapping zoom factor (1x).
Feels faster then previous version.
No screen off animation?
Weather updated works better.

yes you are right... just try the official sourceforge link and got error too. maybe the ROM is been upload

i checked both files have same MD5 signature
some small but significant improvements:
* Quicksnap finally works again (GREAT!), and also "Age and Gender" (although I don't use this, nor the new "Magic Mirror")
* the phone feels a bit snappier
* notifications look better
but old bugs are still there:
* Bluetooth cannot be re-activated after flight mode, only rebooting the phone works (very annoying indeed)
* Clock app still doesn't have a bright theme, only black (very bad in bright surroundings, and uses a lot of energy because it can only be read properly at highest screen brightness)
* clicking the step counter in AppVault does not open MiFit (I have this bug since the first MIUI 10 version for the Mi Note 3, 8.7.12)
* image quality in MIUI 10 is still worse than it used to be in MIUI 9.
and there is a new app, called Xiaomi Authenticator - it is not clear what this is really good for (other than what it says), or whether it is a good idea to use it.

I'm not sure, but I guess EIS has made a return as well, but only in pitch and yaw, roll is somewhat forgotten. Will retest after a full charge, since EIS won't work with battery under 20%.

The EIS is not working. Only OIS. But when you enable Image Stabilization the OIS is not Working in 1080p video record.

Actually, it confirms my previous guess. EIS working but only on pitch and yaw without roll. The difference with OIS only is quite clear. I hope 8.8.10 has the roll as well.
... and generally the image quality should improve again, especially in low light conditions. It was incredibly good in MIUI 9, so it is hard to accept the mediocre quality in MIUI 10.

I have no problems with it but you can wait till tomorrow because then it will be released 8.8.9
I hope that the bugs will be fixed in the new release, but the change log of the Chinese ROM doesn't make this clear...

Btw,anybody has working *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* on miui10 on MNote 3,dont think so but yet to ask
