Said no os installed too and additionally when I try to edit icons it says I need to get them out of a folder and doesn't let me edit them.

Hi, I see that recovery of xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11_V14.0.8.0.TKBCNXM_v14-13.zip is out so cant flash via fastboot

wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to update mi11 venus its been awhile currently have stable miui 13.0.9 Andriod 12, I already have TWRP installed when I last updated but that will be the old TWRP

Do I need to uninstall that TWRP or can I just flash twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.9_A13-venus-skkk.img install and than flash the latest recovery

I also see twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.9_A12-venus-skkk.img for A12 ??

Thanks

I flashed the A13 twrp and then installed the rom. First install said that no os installed but the second time it worked. Someone said that the error was false idk. Didn't uninstall twrp.

Following this thread too. I'm still in miui 12.5.7.
. The most stable for me, never updated but now I'm thinking to give this miui 14 a shot

So far 14 has been running great on my phone. The only bug or missing feature has been super icons.

I installed the new ROM using the TWRP recovery from the last stable build. It installed fine. Unless something has changed Xiaomi.EU installs TWRP inside the update package so you shouldn't need to manually flash TWRP unless you're updating from a fast boot ROM.

You should ignore the errors at the very end of the string when updating the ROM and look at the top of the screen where TWRP says whether the flash was successful or not.

that means I could just run the OTA update from currently installed stable miui 13.0.9 Andriod 12 and it will update ? I'll just use the latest TWRP to be sure

I'm on V13.0.8.0 on my MI11 (venus), I wanted to install the V14 of the ROM. I haven't used TWRP last time (used fastboot), I've been reading but don't know what version of TWRP to install. Should I install twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.0_A13-venus-skkk.img or twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.0_A12-venus-skkk.img?

Another thing will I have to format all the data or will it just update do V14 without loosing the data?
I'm afraid to brick my phone since I haven't done this in a while.

You need to use twrp A13-venus
Probably you won't need to format data but it's always recommended after and major update

Just flashed mi 11 to latest V14, always forget how to do it regarding fast booting twrp after not doing it for a long time and its nerve wrecking because have lots of stuff on phone

so just fast booted latest twrp and went into advanced it doesnt have the onekey option to flash twrp so selected option flash twrp so I guess this has flashed twrp for recovery next time didnt use Install Recovery Ramdisk ? and confirmed rebooting phone holding volume up and power button loaded into latest twrp

already transfered latest zip rom into root of storage , select install on twrp and selected the ROM and hit flash it ended up with few errors but thats expected already mentioned its normal and phone booted up on latest rom

will see how this latest update runs now :) and should be able to do future updates via OTA , untill maybe Android 14 lol

Can anyone confirm if you have different settings in the camera app on miui 14? Like the ability to use Leica colors and filters -
