Miui Browser DNS settings

Howdey, anyone know how to change the DNS settings in the browser of the new Miui V4 for sgs2. I got a feeling that is why internet/tether etc is playing up for me? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I don't know how to do it on a app base, but you can edit the /etc/resolv.conf file and add

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

(google dns)

Is this also possible for miui 8 to dchange the dns settings? I cant seem to find this file.
