Hi everyone,
I know some other sites have already been posting about this contest to win a select list of prizes courtesy of Xiaomi.

<strong>Rules of the contest</strong>
<ol>
<li>Design a Christmas or New Year theme (either one), and make it into a complete mtz theme package;</li>
<li>The contents of the competition include a lockscreen interface, a piece of desktop wallpaper and 20 specified icons (icons including: call, SMS, contacts, browser, calendar, Gmail, file explorer, application market, backup, settings, music, gallery, camera, weather, calculator, maps, notes, time, recorder and theme manger);</li>
<li>Other interfaces (such as SMS, dial-up, contacts, notification bar and so on) are preferred but not required;</li>
<li>Works submitted must be the original works of the author, having not been used commercially or in other similar contests or activities. The works contents must be in conformity with provisions of law and regulations.</li>

<strong>How to participate in the competition:</strong>
1. Post your theme thread in Resources section of MIUI forum (<a href="http://www.miui.com/forum-7-1.html" target="_blank">http://www.miui.com/forum-7-1.html</a>) with the title of ?Theme Competition?********** and upload the mtz pack of your theme. Or just send your theme mtz to <a href="zhangyueting@xiaomi.com" target="_blank">zhangyueting@xiaomi.com</a>
2. You can edit your theme thread before the deadline. The latest update of your mtz file will be regarded as your final version for the competition.
3. The same user name can upload different competing works. The results will be selected by user name. If the competing works is designed by more than one designer, it would be required to get the permission of all designers and indicate the names of all designers.
4. The awarding results of the Competition will be dependent on two parts:
a. votes by MIUI forum users (70%)
b. MIUI official grading (30%);
5. Once submitted the works, contestants will be deemed to have agreed MIUI users to download and use the theme; If awarded, the winners need to authorise the copyright to MIUI.
