MIUI12 Navigation Bar Height for my grandmother

Hello,

I have recently bought a Poco M3 and installed the xiaomi.eu stable rom.
I want to install the "big launcher" and gift the phone to my grandmother, but I am afraid the buttons
of the navigation bar might be too small. I have root access and unlocked bootloader.
Is there any way to increase the height of the navigation bar?

I think gestures would be pretty suitable even for him because you just drag along the screen, no need to push button
