Multiple devices in MI Home, is it hosed?

Hi there, so I have no idea if this is the right place to ask this, as an American living in Nepal, but I love Mi gadgets and have a pile, but no matter what I do I can't get them all connected at the same time, using the app. If I use the Chinese server, I get the Air cleaner, and Cameras. If I switch to anything else under Region, I get the MI Kettle only. I've got a MI space heater being delivered tomorrow, so Im wondering how that's gunna work... is this just a major flustercluck with smart MI products in general... or am I holding something wrong?
