Is it the Poco F8 Ultra or REDMI K90 Pro Max?
If its the REDMI K90 Pro Max then there wont be esim support if its Poco F8 Ultra then there should be an option normally..

Poco f8 ultra. Yes it has an esim option but i press it and nothing happens,i even tried to flash the modem.img from official EEA rom and nothing changed

It's the modemfirmware. img that needs to be flashed.

Flashed EEA fastboot ROM modem files (OS3.0.301.0.WPMEUXM) on top of current Xiaomi.eu — specifically NON-HLOS.bin (renamed modem.img) and MODEM-FW.bin (renamed modemfirmware.img) via:

fastboot flash modem_ab modem.img
fastboot flash modemfirmware_ab modemfirmware.img

Current state:

  • eSIM toggle in Settings is no longer greyed out ✓
  • com.miui.euicc (EsimLPA v4.5.3.1) installed, compiled, all permissions granted including WRITE_EMBEDDED_SUBSCRIPTIONS and READ_PRIVILEGED_PHONE_STATE ✓
  • ProfileListV2Activity launches correctly, shows current SIM + "Add eSIM" button ✓
  • Tapping "Add eSIM" does absolutely nothing — no QR scanner, no dialog, no error ✗

ADB findings:

  • android.settings.EUICC_SETTINGS intent fails to resolve
  • dumpsys euicc_card_info returns Can't find service: euicc_card_info ✗
  • C:\platform-tools>adb shell "getprop | grep -i euicc" && adb shell "getprop | grep -i esim" && adb shell "service list | grep -i euicc" && adb shell "service list | grep -i esim"

All returned empty — no euicc or esim properties or services registered anywhere in the system.

Root cause conclusion:
The eUICC service is not registered in the system at all. The modem flash fixed the UI layer but the eSIM chip itself is not being detected/exposed to Android. The Add eSIM button is a dead end because there's no eUICC backend running.

We already have modemfirmware from OS3.0.301.0.WPMEUXM for Global devices included in the ROM, so that makes no sense.
And modem partition has nothing to do with eSIM when the modemfirmware partition exists.
