I can't send MMS with Google Messages nor Mi Messages.

Every time I attach a picture, I get a message that states "Network is not ready".

Chat Features are enabled, APN settings are correct per my carrier, mobile network settings were reset, switched SIM from slot 1 to 2, deleted all the existing APNs and re-added the correct one, I checked the permissions, etc.

I can send MMS on a S21 Ultra with the same APN settings. I used to be able to send MMS with my MI 10 Ultra as well.

I do see at least one other post with this issue with no solution.

Any help is appreciated. This is very frustrating.

Had the same issues, it was related to the security settings of android giving fake responses to app requests. The first time you opened the Messenges app you should have been asked weather to give it fake or real responses to the API. I can't remember in details what I did to fix it, but I think it should work by resetting the app cache and data and make sure you give it all permissions when it asks the first time you launch it.

I tried that too in before posting this. That only made things worse, it disabled my chat features and now it says my device isn't compatible.

I have had the same thing happen almost every time I have updated.. Each time after showing not compatible eventually chat features set it self up .

Its annoying and it does not happen right away. I had wiped and installed yesterday afternoon. Chat and MMS via google messages were still not working this morning. I checked the permission again and saw that some were removed when I know I granted everything. I made sure to change the setting to not letting it remove unused permissions and granted every permission again. Then about 10 minutes later out of nowhere it showed "setting up chat features" and all works fine.
