New app in Chinese?? System app as I can't uninstall it

After installing 1.6.17 I noticed there was an app, in Chinese, anybody know what it is or whatit does?

I think it's some kind of MIUI updating app. I hope it will be translated in future versions.

its the chinese updater app. It will not work outside of china i believe and it can update some apps and leave them in chinese so you wouldnt want to use it.
