New Phone, No Wifi Detected, No Sim-card Detected.

Hi. I bought a Mi Mix 2, took a month before it arrived, and I was super-excited. But, as soon as I turn it on, I ran into some problems. The first problem I noticed was that there was not a single Wifi-connection visible in my area, which is strange, since there are about 15-20 Wifis in a 60 metres radius. The other problem is that the phone won't even detect that I have a SIM-card inserted into it. Im feeling dumb and a little hustled, because I have no idea what to do about this. Should I just complain and get my money back, or do you know how to fix this?

Test another sim.

I have exactly the same problem! New Mi Mix 2 after few days, sim cards stopped working, as well as wifi. No wifi is found and no sim card inserted is dectected. When I turn on wifi switch it's automatically switched off after 20 seconds or so.
