No autocorrect

So, I'm at a loss. Installed the new ROM on my Desire and I've lost all autocorrect functionality. Anyone know why that might be? Am I missing something simple?

MIUI changed keyboard to fit their needs u need system/app/latinime.apk and /system/lib/libjni_latinime.so from cm7 to make it work again.

I downloaded the gingerbread keyboard from the market this has a built in dictionary and auto correct.

Or ask whoever makes the rom or translations for ur device to add it on their release. That would be the best idea.

May I ask which gingerbread keyboard you downloaded from the market? I seem to be lost in the sea of keyboards in the market. Thanks!

Just search for 'gingerbread keyboard' and it should be the 2nd one down 'Keyboard from Android 2.3'. There is a paid version that has some extra features, themes etc, but this one is free
