New No cyrillic symbols in contacts quicksearch bar.

I have installed MIUI 10 8.8.3 on my Redmi 4x. I moved to your roms from multirom (as the project is now closed). Everything seems to be great here, but there is one inconvenience that is essential for me (and I think) for everyone, using Russian as primary language. There are no Russian (Cyrillic) letters on quicksearch bar in Contacts app. (only Latin letters are present there) and it does not allow use this search bar for contacts.
Please consider this while rolling out the future updates, I would be very grateful!

Tried to follow Your advice (after changing theme to default the phone even was restarted).
Alas, no effect and bug remains.

I have the same problem with greek characters, only english letters are displayed in quicksearch. This used to work properly two updates ago. I have redmi note 4x mido
